M-22 lane closures start Sept. 21 near Glen Lake Narrows for permit drainage project
Team Elmer’s, on behalf of the Leelanau County Drain Commission, will be installing new storm sewer along M-22 from Welch Road to South Benzonia Trail near Glen Lake Narrows to improve drainage for the Little Glen Lake Drain.
Start date: Monday, Sept. 21, 2026
Estimated end date: Friday, Oct. 23, 2026
Traffic restrictions: This work will require a single-lane closure with one lane of alternating traffic controlled by temporary traffic signals.
