Arbor Day Tree Planting May 9, 11:30 am

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the Glen Lake Garden Club will be planting a Red Maple tree in the grove behind the Glen Arbor Town Hall this Saturday, May 9 at 11:30 am. The GLGC plants this tree as a living tribute to the dedication, stewardship, and shared love of nature that brings our community together.
This follows earlier Arbor Day Celebrations which begin at the Cherry Republic at 10 am and are hosted by the Glen Arbor Beautification Committee/ Chamber of Commerce. The Arbor Day Celebrations are to recognize Glen Arbor’s first year as being named a Tree City USA.
The GA community are invited to both sessions.
