Road work has started on M22 north towards the Narrows, and on M109 past the Dune Climb and Glen Haven. The 7 week road maintenance project will affect M-109 (Dune Valley Highway and Harbor Highway) and M-22 (Leelanau Highway and Glenmere Rd.) between the Narrows and Empire. Expect delays when traffic is limited to one lane. Work is slated to continue through the end of October, so be prepared for stoppages and single lane traffic.
